I decided to post some of my sketches. Once I finish a sketchbook I start to forget what I have drawn, so by posting it Im hoping it will help me remember. :)

I have always really admired the drawings of Lauren Nassef. I would love to be disciplined enough to do a drawing a day. She now sells her work too which is awesome!

Crown Lyn

I discovered these cute teacups at the beach house the other weekend. I love their colours and simple designs. Im a little mad on tea cups and seem to have collected a fair few! (Ill post my collection some other time). They dont make Crown Lyn pottery in NZ anymore but i wish they did!

summer sweetness

I love summer flowers especially lavender and sweet peas. Even though we are in the middle of a drought some plants still manage to survive. Sad I wont be able to go to Craftwerk in Auckland this weekend. Looks like so much fun to be had!

duck, duck, goose

Found this gorgeous wooden brooch at a gallery (sorry I cant remember the name of it) at Hot Water Beach in the weekend. It reminds me of Beatrix Potters, Jemima Puddle Duck. Love to know who makes them.
